1. Overview
RoamRaven, operated by MetroFeed (“RoamRaven,” “MetroFeed,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), is committed to protecting privacy and being transparent about how information is handled.
This Privacy Policy explains what limited information may be processed when using RoamRaven and how such information may be used.
RoamRaven may display sponsor advertisements, promotional placements, or related content. RoamRaven does not intentionally use behavioral advertising, personalized profiling, or cross-site advertising systems.
2. Information We Collect
RoamRaven does not require user accounts and does not intentionally collect personal information during normal site use, such as names, email addresses, account credentials, payment information, or government-issued identifiers. Like most websites, RoamRaven and its hosting or infrastructure providers may automatically receive limited technical information (such as IP addresses, browser type, device category, timestamps, and request metadata) as part of normal internet communications.
With user permission, RoamRaven may access device location information to support map-based features, routing, nearby services, weather context, and related functionality.
Location information is processed in real time and is not intentionally stored, retained, profiled, or used to create user histories by RoamRaven. Accuracy depends on device settings, browser behavior, permissions, and environmental conditions.
RoamRaven may allow users to save preferences, such as favorite routes or settings, through local browser storage. This information remains on the user’s device and is not intentionally transmitted to or stored by RoamRaven systems.
RoamRaven may use third-party analytics services to collect limited technical information including browser type, device category, pages viewed, feature usage, general traffic patterns, and performance information.
RoamRaven may also collect anonymous, aggregate operational usage statistics, such as feature usage counts, page interactions, or similar service metrics, to monitor platform usage, improve functionality, maintain reliability, and support ongoing development. These statistics are not intentionally associated with individual users, accounts, or behavioral profiles.
3. Technical Logs and Infrastructure Data
Hosting providers, security systems, infrastructure services, analytics systems, and related technical components may automatically generate temporary logs including IP addresses, timestamps, request information, diagnostics, or error records. This may include information processed by hosting providers, content delivery networks, security systems, or reverse proxies operating as part of normal service delivery.
Such information may be used for:
- Reliability monitoring;
- Troubleshooting;
- Performance evaluation;
- Service security;
- Operational support.
4. Purpose of Information Use
Information, technical usage data, and anonymous aggregate operational statistics may be used to:
- Monitor reliability and uptime;
- Detect outages or failures;

- Evaluate feature usage;

- Improve overall performance.
MetroFeed does not intentionally sell user information or use collected information for behavioral targeting or individualized advertising profiles.
5. Cookies and Analytics
RoamRaven may use third-party analytics services and cookies for performance measurement, reliability monitoring, and platform improvement.
Certain anonymous operational usage statistics may be generated independently of optional third-party analytics to support platform operation, service improvement, reliability monitoring, and feature evaluation. These operational statistics are separate from optional analytics services and are not used to create behavioral advertising profiles or individualized user histories. These operational statistics may continue to be generated even if a user declines optional analytics.
MetroFeed does not intentionally use analytics data collected through RoamRaven to create behavioral advertising profiles of individual users or to sell personal information.
Users may disable cookies through browser settings, though certain features may function differently. Disabling cookies or using strict browser privacy settings may also affect locally stored preferences saved through browser storage (such as favorite routes or settings).
Third-party analytics providers may process information according to their own privacy policies.
6. Third-Party Providers (General)
RoamRaven relies on third-party providers to deliver mapping, routing, transit information, analytics, weather information, content delivery, hosting, infrastructure, and related services. These providers may independently process technical information necessary to provide their services. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies.
Third-party providers integrated with RoamRaven may independently collect, process, store, or retain technical information necessary to provide their services. MetroFeed does not control the privacy practices of independent third-party providers and encourages users to review their published privacy policies where appropriate.
7. Third-Party Location and Search Services (Geoapify)
RoamRaven uses third-party location services to support address and place search, trip-planning start and destination fields, stop Explore features, and related map functionality. These requests are handled through MetroFeed infrastructure, which may forward them to Geoapify (Geoapify GmbH) and related content-delivery or hosting partners that Geoapify uses to operate its APIs.
When you use these features, search text, place names, addresses, coordinates, place identifiers, feature selections (such as Explore categories), and related technical request information may be transmitted to Geoapify for geocoding, autocomplete, place details, reverse geocoding, and similar processing.
RoamRaven does not require user accounts for these features and does not intentionally use search or place-query activity to build advertising profiles or individualized marketing histories.
RoamRaven does not intentionally retain long-term individualized search histories from these features on RoamRaven systems. MetroFeed servers may temporarily process queries to relay requests and maintain ordinary technical, security, or operational logs.
Geoapify processes API requests as an independent service provider. According to Geoapify's published privacy policy, API-related information may include request parameters, technical metadata, network information, and timestamps, and may be used for access control, usage measurement, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and service improvement. Geoapify states that successful API request data is typically retained for a limited period (generally up to about 24 hours) for aggregated usage and operational purposes, separate from registered account data.

RoamRaven is not responsible for Geoapify's independent collection, retention, or security practices. Users who do not want search or location queries processed by third-party location providers should avoid using address search, trip-planning place fields, Explore, and similar features that depend on these services.
8. External Services and Links
RoamRaven may contain links to external services, websites, maps, public information sources, transportation providers, weather systems, alerts, cameras, or other third-party platforms.
This includes public transportation agencies, mapping providers, weather services, traffic data sources, camera systems, and routing platforms whose information RoamRaven displays or links to but does not control.
RoamRaven is not responsible for the content, availability, privacy practices, or policies of external services.
Users interact with such services at their own discretion.
9. Data Security
RoamRaven does not operate user accounts, maintain user profiles, or intentionally retain sensitive personal information during ordinary use.
RoamRaven uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the services provided. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and MetroFeed cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Youth Usage
RoamRaven is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to supervise internet usage by minors.
11. Legal Compliance
RoamRaven seeks to comply with applicable privacy laws and minimize information collection wherever practical.
Users from jurisdictions with additional privacy requirements acknowledge that RoamRaven limits information collection and does not intentionally provide behavioral advertising, personalized tracking, or profiling.
12. Voluntary Communication
Users who contact RoamRaven through email, contact forms, support requests, sponsor inquiries, advertising submissions, business discussions, or similar methods may voluntarily provide information including names, email addresses, organization information, promotional materials, files, logos, links, or related content.
Such information may be used only to:
- Respond to inquiries;
- Coordinate communications;
- Process advertising or sponsorship discussions;
- Maintain business records;
- Resolve issues;
- Meet legal obligations.
Voluntarily submitted information may be retained only as reasonably necessary for these purposes.
Users may request correction or deletion of voluntarily submitted information where applicable.
13. Sponsor and Advertising Information
RoamRaven may accept advertising inquiries, sponsorship requests, promotional materials, campaign information, logos, links, contact information, creative assets, and related business information submitted voluntarily by sponsors, advertisers, organizations, or partners.
Such information may be used only for:
- Evaluating advertising opportunities;
- Coordinating sponsorship placements;
- Managing campaigns;
- Maintaining communication records;
- Supporting advertising operations;
- Meeting contractual or legal obligations.
RoamRaven does not sell sponsor information or use submitted materials for unrelated marketing purposes.
Advertising and sponsorship materials remain subject to applicable agreements between the involved parties.
14. User Rights
Users may request clarification, correction, or deletion of voluntarily submitted information where applicable.
RoamRaven will make reasonable efforts to respond to such requests when legally or operationally appropriate.
15. Business Changes and Transfers
If MetroFeed or RoamRaven undergoes a merger, acquisition, restructuring, asset transfer, sale, or related business transaction, information associated with the operation of the platform may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to applicable laws and obligations.
16. Legal Requests and Compliance
RoamRaven may disclose information when required to comply with applicable law, legal process, lawful requests, regulatory obligations, security needs, fraud prevention, or to protect the rights, safety, property, users, or operations of MetroFeed, RoamRaven, or others.
17. Future Features
RoamRaven may introduce optional services, subscriptions, authentication systems, AI-assisted features, premium services, payment systems, sponsor dashboards, campaign tools, promotional systems, or additional functionality in future releases.
If such features require additional information handling, this Privacy Policy may be updated.
18. Policy Updates
This Privacy Policy may be revised at any time to reflect operational changes, compliance requirements, infrastructure updates, feature additions, or service modifications.
Material updates may be highlighted on RoamRaven services or related pages.
Continued use of RoamRaven after updates constitutes acceptance of revised policies.
