Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using RoamRaven, operated by MetroFeed (“RoamRaven,” “MetroFeed,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. These terms govern your access to and use of all content, features, and services provided through the platform. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the site or services.
RoamRaven is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13.
Use of Information
RoamRaven provides information for general reference purposes only. While we aim to present helpful and timely information, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, availability, reliability, or suitability of any information displayed, including route information, traffic conditions, weather information, notifications, alerts, maps, overlays, schedules, estimates, or other platform features.
RoamRaven does not require user accounts and does not intentionally collect personal information during normal site use, such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, payment information, or government-issued identifiers. Like most websites, RoamRaven and its infrastructure may automatically receive limited technical information (such as IP addresses, browser type, and request metadata) as part of normal internet communications, as described in our Privacy Policy.
With user permission, RoamRaven may access device location information to support map-based features, routing, nearby services, weather context, and related functionality. Location information is processed in real time and is not intentionally stored, retained, profiled, or used to create user histories by RoamRaven. Accuracy depends on device settings, permissions, browser behavior, and environmental conditions.
RoamRaven may allow users to save preferences, such as favorite routes or settings, through local browser storage. This information remains on the user’s device and is not intentionally transmitted to or stored by RoamRaven systems.
User Responsibility. Users remain responsible for decisions made based on information presented through RoamRaven, including travel decisions, route selection, timing, weather responses, safety decisions, and reliance on schedules, estimates, alerts, maps, or other displayed information. Users are also responsible for managing browser storage, cookies, and device permissions on their own devices.
Third-Party Information and Services
RoamRaven utilizes information and services from external providers, including mapping services, routing systems, public information feeds, traffic services, weather providers, analytics services, camera systems, and other integrations.
Third-Party Services and Data Sources. RoamRaven aggregates information from numerous third-party providers, public agencies, mapping providers, weather services, transportation agencies, routing systems, analytics providers, advertising partners, and other external services. These providers may change, interrupt, discontinue, restrict, or modify their services without notice. MetroFeed is not responsible for the content, availability, accuracy, privacy practices, security, uptime, or policies of third-party services, even when integrated into RoamRaven.
RoamRaven is an independent information platform and is not affiliated with, operated by, sponsored by, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any organization unless explicitly stated.
Third-party information is provided “as-is” and may be delayed, unavailable, inaccurate, incomplete, interrupted, or changed without notice.
Map imagery, geographic data, and related mapping information are provided by third-party mapping providers and open-data contributors (including OpenStreetMap contributors where applicable).
Transit Data
Transit schedules, stop locations, route information, vehicle positions, alerts, service changes, and related transit information originate from public transportation agencies or their designated providers (including GTFS and GTFS-Realtime sources). RoamRaven does not create, maintain, operate, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of agency-provided transit information. Official agency sources should be consulted when timing, safety, or operational decisions are important.
Third-Party Privacy Practices
RoamRaven integrates with third-party services that may independently collect, receive, or process information necessary to provide their services. Such information may include IP addresses, browser information, device information, approximate location, request metadata, or other technical information transmitted as part of normal internet communications.
RoamRaven does not control the privacy practices, retention policies, or security procedures of independent third-party providers. Users should review the privacy policies of applicable third-party services where appropriate. For MetroFeed’s own practices, see our Privacy Policy.
Location Search and Geoapify
Address autocomplete, trip-planning place search, Explore from bus stops, and related location features may rely on services provided by Geoapify (Geoapify GmbH) and open-data sources (including OpenStreetMap contributors where applicable), delivered through MetroFeed infrastructure.
By using these features, you acknowledge that search text, place names, addresses, coordinates, place identifiers, and related parameters may be transmitted through MetroFeed systems to Geoapify for geocoding, autocomplete, place details, and similar processing. Geoapify operates under its own terms and privacy practices.
Geoapify may log API request information (such as query parameters and technical metadata) for operational, security, and usage purposes as described in Geoapify's published policies. RoamRaven does not intentionally build advertising profiles from this activity.
Results may require provider attribution as described in Geoapify documentation. RoamRaven is not responsible for the accuracy, availability, retention practices, or policies of Geoapify or its upstream data sources.
Routing and Guidance Disclaimer
Trip planning, route suggestions, estimated arrivals, transfer recommendations, stop information, notifications, alerts, proximity features, overlays, location-based functions, and similar guidance tools are informational only.
Such information may be delayed, inaccurate, unavailable, unsuitable for a user’s circumstances, or affected by conditions outside RoamRaven’s control.
Users should independently verify critical information through official sources when timing, safety, travel, or operational decisions are important.
Emergency and Safety Disclaimer
RoamRaven is not an emergency service and must not be used for emergency response, medical decisions, evacuation planning, public safety actions, or other time-sensitive situations.
Always follow official instructions and contact emergency services directly when necessary.
Platform Dependencies
RoamRaven functionality may depend on internet access, device permissions, browser compatibility, software updates, location services, infrastructure availability, third-party systems, and related technical requirements. APIs, external data feeds, and third-party services may become unavailable, rate-limited, delayed, or changed without notice.
Service performance may become delayed, degraded, inaccurate, incomplete, or unavailable if these dependencies are interrupted.
No Warranty
RoamRaven and all related services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
MetroFeed makes no express or implied warranties regarding availability, uptime, accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, reliability, or uninterrupted operation.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MetroFeed, RoamRaven, their owners, operators, contributors, affiliates, and service providers are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from the use of, inability to use, or reliance upon the platform or its information, including loss of data, business interruption, loss of profits, missed connections, travel delays, or reliance upon schedules, estimates, alerts, maps, weather information, or other displayed content.
Advertisements and Sponsorships
RoamRaven may display advertisements, sponsor placements, promotional materials, or partner content.
Display of such material does not constitute endorsement, recommendation, approval, verification, or guarantee of any product, service, organization, or claim.
RoamRaven is not responsible for transactions, disputes, services, products, or representations made by advertisers or sponsors.
Sponsor Content and Promotional Materials
RoamRaven may display sponsor content, promotional placements, logos, advertisements, links, campaign materials, organization information, or related content submitted by advertisers, sponsors, partners, agencies, organizations, or other entities.
Display of such content does not create endorsement, partnership, agency relationship, approval, verification, recommendation, or guarantee unless explicitly stated.
RoamRaven reserves the right to approve, reject, modify, remove, suspend, or discontinue advertising, sponsorships, placements, or promotional content at its discretion.
RoamRaven is not responsible for sponsor claims, third-party products, services, representations, availability, or disputes arising between users and sponsors.
Cookies and Analytics
RoamRaven may utilize third-party analytics tools and cookies to understand performance, monitor reliability, evaluate usage, and improve platform functionality.
RoamRaven may also maintain anonymous aggregate operational usage statistics to monitor platform reliability, evaluate feature usage, improve functionality, and support ongoing operation. These operational statistics are independent of optional third-party analytics and are not designed to identify individual users or create behavioral advertising profiles.
MetroFeed does not intentionally use analytics data collected through RoamRaven to create behavioral advertising profiles of individual users or to sell personal information.
Users may manage cookies through browser settings, though some features may not function correctly if disabled.
Acceptable Use
Users may not:
- Use RoamRaven unlawfully;
- Interfere with services or platform operation;
- Attempt unauthorized access;
- Circumvent technical protections or restrictions;
- Excessively automate access or scrape information;
- Disrupt functionality, performance, or availability;
- Use the platform in ways that create operational harm.
Intellectual Property and Copyright
All original RoamRaven and MetroFeed content, including code, design elements, text, graphics, branding, and original materials, remains protected intellectual property unless otherwise stated.
Unauthorized reproduction, redistribution, or reuse is prohibited.
Copyright concerns or notices may be submitted through Contact Us or our DMCA Policy.
Access, Availability, and Feature Changes
RoamRaven may update, modify, suspend, restrict, remove, replace, or discontinue features, content, integrations, services, or access at any time.
Beta, preview, experimental, or developing features may appear, change, or disappear without notice.
Advertising, sponsorship features, promotional tools, campaign systems, partner content, and related services may be introduced, modified, suspended, restricted, or removed at any time.
RoamRaven reserves the right to change advertising formats, placements, sponsorship structures, eligibility requirements, and related business features without notice.
Force Majeure
RoamRaven is not responsible for service interruptions, outages, delays, failures, or degraded performance resulting from circumstances outside reasonable control, including technical failures, infrastructure issues, weather events, network disruptions, government actions, provider interruptions, utility failures, or similar events.
Automated and AI Features
RoamRaven may introduce automated systems, generated summaries, AI-assisted features, recommendations, or similar functionality.
Such information may contain errors and should be independently verified. AI-generated or automated information may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect and must not be relied upon as a sole source for important decisions.
No Professional Advice
RoamRaven does not provide legal, engineering, transportation planning, emergency management, medical, financial, or other professional advice. Information displayed through RoamRaven is for general informational purposes only.
Modifications
MetroFeed may revise these Terms of Use at any time.
Updated versions will be posted on this page and continued use of RoamRaven constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Legal actions related to these terms shall be brought within Kentucky, USA.
Survival
Sections involving liability limitations, warranties, intellectual property, acceptable use, governing law, and related protections survive termination or discontinuation of services.
